The Gen 5 3.0L supercharger kit for the 2003-2004 SVT Mustang Cobra is a total game-changer. With a new rotor design, rotor profile, high-pressure housing, massive crusher inlet, 150mm roval throttle body and 123mm cold air intake this thing will make tons of power.

The Gen 3 5 3.0L supercharger is not only more efficient than the previous Gen 4 but is also capable of supporting much higher hp levels. Taking less power to make power this Gen 5 3.0L moves a ton of air and at much cooler temperatures as well. Whipple also engineered this kit to use their new Coyote inspired 150mm throttle body. The new 150mm throttle body has proven to flow more air and has less inlet restriction than any other throttle body Whipple has offered for the cobra. In fact, the new Whipple 150mm roval throttle body flows more air than any other Whipple throttle body except for the Ford GT twin blade.

We've seen how well some of the Gen 4 Whipple guys have done this past season and we're really excited to see what this new setup does. During some initial testing on a, few very well known cobras the Gen 5 3.0L made almost 100rwhp over the Gen 4 at the same boost level. Those are some very impressive gains and it's only the beginning.

The factory engine can run up to 17psi on pump gas while modified engines can run up to 25psi.
