- Inner and outer shells are available in aluminum or steel, and contain a steel inertia weight. This inertia weight has six (2-ring design) or eight (3-ring design) computer machined grooves to retain the proper durometer O-rings (dyno tested for each application).
NOTE:Installation of a new balancer bolt is REQUIRED as the factory Ford bolt is torque-to-yeild
Cars equipped with the "Track Pack" option that have the factory oil cooler, the 15% OD balancers will not fit unless you modify the lower oil cooler hose, delete the cooler all together OR use an aftermarket cooler like the MMR part number 400235. The 10% OD is better suited for Track Pack cars that want to keep the OEM cooler.
