- Inner and outer shells are available in aluminum or steel and contain a steel inertia weight. This inertia weight has six (2-ring design) or eight (3-ring design) computer machined grooves to retain the proper durometer O-rings (dyno tested for each application).
NOTE: Installation of a new balancer bolt is REQUIRED as the factory Ford bolt is torque-to-yield. Cars equipped with the "Track Pack" option that has the factory oil cooler, the 15% OD balancers will not fit unless you modify the lower oil cooler hose OR delete the cooler altogether.
The 10% OD is better suited for Track Pack cars that want to keep the cooler.
